  • Aluminium ferrules for use with galvanised and self colour wire rope, suitable for forming eyes and stops.
  • Also known as crimping sleeves, swaged sleeves, wire rope sleeves, cable crimps, crimping loops.
  • Not suitable for stainless steel wire. If using stainless steel wire please use copper ferrules.
  • If using wire core ropes we recommend using a half size up from the wire diameter.

NOT TO BE USED FOR LIFTING

Aluminium

Aluminium is a lightweight silvery white metal which has good strength and is malleable making it great for use as ferrules which are pressed on to wire rope.

Do not use aluminium with stainless steel as the combination of metals will cause galvanic corrosion at point of contact. If using ferrules for stainless steel wire rope please use copper ferrules.
